We are located in beautiful Halifax, the heart of Nova Scotia. Halifax is the cultural center of the Atlantic Provinces.

Although not a large city by modern standards, because it is located in a relatively unpopulated area it has as its capital, acquired a cosmopolitan quality.
It is a sort of San Francisco of Eastern Canada. The maritime climate tempers the seasons so it is never very hot or cold. The sea and its influence is never far away.

Her history is tightly linked to a seafaring life, one of ups and downs, highs and lows, triumphs and tragedies. Her people have been molded by these events and the result is a resourceful, cooperative and resilient population.
Whether the big events are planned, such as our famous Tallships festivals or an unplanned calamity such as the marooning of thousands of airline passengers during the 9/11 crisis, Haligonians rise to the challenge with a can-do attitude with good results.
We are large enough to be able, and, small enough we still care.
We are friends of our community, we actively partake in community events and we encourage our staff to be good Nova Scotians, whether it is donating blood, organizing food drives or advocating for our city, our industry and our people.
